Different watch faces include different data and so you can apply watch faces that include the set of data that you want to see on the first screen. Get Galaxy Watch 5 watch faces using Galaxy Wearable App
As you know Galaxy Watch 5 is released with some new watch faces, Samsung is now bringing some of the new watch faces to Galaxy Watch 4. Yes, you can get some of the Galaxy Watch 5 new watch faces with the official method. You don’t have to follow too many steps to get new watch faces using the wearable app.
This is possible because Samsung is rolling out an update for the Galaxy Wearable app with a new watch face. The update is rolling out in batches and we don’t know yet whether it will roll out to a specific region or will everyone get the new watch faces. But you can find out by checking the method.
As the new watch faces are available with the new update to the Galaxy Wearable app, you need to update your Wearable app. If the update is not available on your device then you can wait for a few days or you can also jump to the next method.
After updating the app, open the Wearable app and you will see some new watch faces that are part of the Galaxy Watch 5 series. You might need to browse for the new watch faces (look for orange dot on watch faces). Open the new Watch Face that you want to apply and install it.
Note: If you don’t see the install or download option on any new watch face, then make sure to reboot your phone and try again. Or you can also try reinstalling the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone.

Get Galaxy Watch 5 watch faces by sideloading APK
You can also install the new watch faces of Galaxy Watch 5 by sideloading modded apk that includes new watch faces. An XDA developer niff2005 has extracted APKs for some of the new watch faces from the Galaxy Watch 5 firmware. And you can sideload APKs to get Galaxy Watch 5 watch faces on Galaxy Watch 4. Remember there are some missing watch faces in the apk bundle. So let’s see how to install the apk using adb.
Download the zip file that includes multiple apks of different watch faces. Copy it to your PC and extract the zip file. Make sure to install adb and fastboot driver on your PC as well.
Enable ADB Debugging
- Open Settings on your Galaxy Watch 4.
- Now go to About watch > Software and tap on software version 7-8 times. It will display developer mode turned on.
- Go back to settings and you will see Developer Options. Open it.
- Now in developer options, enable ADB Debugging and Debug over WiFi.
Install APK using ADB
- Connect your Galaxy Watch 4 to WiFi. Make note of the IP address (It will be in Debug Over WiFi option).
- Now connect your PC to the same WiFi.
- Open command window on your PC from the location where apks are stored. To open cmd from a folder, type in cmd in folder location and press enter.
- Enter the below command to connect to your PC.
adb connect 'Watch IP address'- You will see a prompt on your watch to allow debugging, allow it.
- Now you can install apks one by one on your Galaxy Watch 4 using the command below.
adb -s 'Watch IP address' install filename.apk- Make sure to replace the filename with watchface filename and do not include inverted commas.
