If you donโ€™t know what is Fall detection and how it works, keep reading. When a user wearing Pixel Watch falls, the Pixel Watch will detect it using motion sensors and machine learning. Once the watch detects Fall, it will wait for 30 seconds to detect further movement. If it doesnโ€™t detect any movement, the watch will vibrate, sound an alarm, and flash a notification. There will be two options to choose from in the notification, I fell & need help and Iโ€™m Ok. The watch will respond according to the selected option. And if there is no response in 60 seconds, the Watch will automatically call emergency services and share the user’s location.

As per Google, the fall detection feature can differentiate between a hard fall and exercise. There are exercises that include fall and so you wouldnโ€™t want your watch to act every time of its own. It can detect exercises like burpees, jumping, swimming, and other vigorous physical activity.
