Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 is the latest smartwatch from Samsung and comes in two models, Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. Both the watches run on the latest wearOS which brings most of the Google features including Google Assistant. Here you will learn how to use Google Assistant on Samsung Galaxy Watch 5.
Unlike the Galaxy Watch 4, the Galaxy Watch 5 has Google Assistant by default. This means you won’t have to wait to get Google Assistant on your new Galaxy Watch 5, as we all did with the Galaxy Watch 4.
Even though the Galaxy Watch 5 series comes with Google Assistant by default it’s not enabled out of the box. This means you’ll have to go through the hassle of enabling Google Assistant and even replace Samsung’s own assistant, Bixby.
If you want to use Google Assistant on your Galaxy Watch 5, then you have to enable it first which you find in this guide. Let’s first start with the use of Google Assistant.
Use of Google Assistant
Since Smartwatches have small screens, using them with touch or typing anything through the keyboard is not an easy task. And so the voice assistant makes it easy to interact with the watch to perform various tasks.
And Google Assistant is the best voice assistant available for any Smartwatch. Users can use Google Assistant to make and end calls, play music, change volume levels, and send or reply to any message or other tasks.
So if you have a hard time typing anything on your Watch or just want to save time then you can make use of Google Assistant.
